Permanent Hair Removal

Waxing is messy and painful, plucking really hurts, and razors give you stubbles. So if you are tired of these traditional hair removal techniques, consider permanent hair removal methods. Permanent hair removal methods are more effective and worth the price. They can completely destroy the hair follicle and prevent regeneration, so you never have to wax, pluck, or shave; at least not for a very long time.

How it works

Permanent hair removal techniques, such as electrolysis, target follicles and kill them when they are at the peak of their growing cycle. "Permanent" does not mean "forever," but a good hair removal technique can keep you hairless for about a year or so.

So far, the only clinically-proven method of removing hair permanently is electrolysis. In this process, hair-thin metal probes are carefully slithered into your hair follicles carefully. The probe introduces electricity to the follicles, causing localized damage and preventing future growth.

Some lasers and flash lamps are also effective, but they are only able to give you permanent hair "reduction." Lasers are considered safe if administered properly. A laser hand piece introduces wavelengths into the skin. These lasers target dark components, usually the pigment in the hair, and damage it without harming the surrounding tissues.

There is little data on exactly how long this reduction lasts because it varies from patient to patient. According to some sources, the effects of laser hair removal last from two months to a year. Some patients experience longer-lasting effects, though. It works best on people with light skin and darker hair. Some patients experience hair re-growth after a certain period, but the new hair is typically lighter in color and finer in texture.
