You Can't Be Happy Unless You Focus On Your Total Health

 

Health -The condition of ones mind and body. In order for us to be completely healthy we must be healthy in at least five categories.

1. Physical Health - If you are in good to excellent physical health, this just means that your body is healthy. For example, your blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol level, BMI (meaning that you are at the proper weight for your height) as well as other factors, are at normal to above normal levels.

2. Mental Health - If you are of sound mind and do not suffer clinically of any mental disorders that strongly affect your sense of judgment, as well as other decision making abilities, then you may be considered to be in good mental health.

3. Spiritual Health - Usually when one recognizes that there is a divine order to things and that we all are accountable for our conscious choices on a daily basis, you are of good will and righteousness, we could say that you are in sound Spiritual Health.

4. Financial Health - If we are able to take care of ourselves financially and are not suffering stress wise from a lack of money, then we may be considered financially healthy.

5. Social Health - Being part of a loving family and having friends that love us and care about our well being, would more than likely cause us to be healthy socially.

Now it may be easy to see why so many of us are unhealthy in this world. If we are lacking in any one of these areas, more than likely we are not happy to some degree. Depending on the level of unhappiness we may then see disease in any of these areas. We must work to bring about total health. In other words if we are married to a loving spouse, we have an abundance of money, we have a good heart and want peace in the world, and look and feel great, we are on the road to total health. Life's journey is about achieving total health. It is no easy to achieve, however if we are diligent and strive hard to develop in all of these areas on a daily basis we will see positive results. If you don't, you are probably doing the wrong thing to achieve your goals, or there is a system set up to keep you and me unhealthy. We must discover what that system is and choke out the lies that kept us unhealthy, next we must try another approach founded in truth and we will prevail. This approach will usually be by looking into concepts that are not widely practiced. These include: meditation, visualization, prayer, gaining holistic knowledge, herbs and so on.
