Hurricanes and Golf Schedules

 

Hurricanes can ruin your Golf Schedule and with some of the nicest Golf Courses in the United States in know areas of Hurricane Paths and Hurricane or Tropical Storm Remnants it can really play havoc on your golf game.

For instance many Golf Course each year get flooded out due to severe rain storms as the Hurricane passes over land and then dissipates and this can ruin your golf play for months on end while they return the course back to normal again. Many golfers find these events to really take a toll on their good-natured personalities and make them more irritated at the office.

All this of course causes conflict and deals not to be made on the leisure golf course but rather on the phone instead. Lets us take a look at Tropical Storm Alberto, the first named storm of the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season and just look at what it has caused. 25 inches of rain in some parts of Florida and it will take weeks to get those course back in order and that is only if another storm does not over saturate the already very wet and eroded giant sandbar that we call the Great State of Florida.

Well if you think this is bad for your golf game, then just consider the costs of the Golf Course itself and even with insurance they need to recoup costs some how and this means higher fees and cost for all us golfers. Boy oh boy can Hurricanes ruin a good golf game or what? Consider all this in 2006.
